If you're looking for a photographer that believe timeless is better than trendy, then you're in the right place. I don't use presets. I go for natural skin tones with colors that pop. No 2012 Pinteresty preset filters here. Just solid editing that lets the moments shine.

the PROCESS
Here's an overview of what you can expect working with us. We're known for our personalized approach and our documentary style to capture storytelling candid images.
1. initial consult
After you inquire, we'll set up a consult where we'll chat about your plans, get to know each other, go over pricing and artwork, sketch out the timeline, and determine if we're a good fit.
This comes with a delivery of your personalized timeline and wedding packet to help you plan and prep for things as best as you possibly can.
2. PROPOSAL DELIVERY

I'll work with you to ensure your wedding photography is as stress free as possible and that I know which elements and people are most important to you on your day.
4. engagement session
As a storyteller, I know that your relationship is more than just a wedding day and I want to tell the engagement part of your story too.
5. Pre-wedding prep
This is where a site visit, calls and texts, lunches, and Zoom sessions take place so we have a solid plan and there's not a lot of decisions to make on your wedding day.
6. wedding
All our planning and collaboration is about to pay off. You enjoy your day, and I capture the moments.
I work on perfecting your images and then we meet up (in studio or on Zoom) to review your images. You'll get a scheduling link for this reveal session no later than 30 days after your wedding.
Once we've done the reveal, you'll get your gallery link, download instructions, and a homework assignment to finish up any design work and ordering decisions.

EXPERIENCE MATTERS
I found my place in photography as a military photojournalist. It was drilled into me that the story matters above all else. Understand the people I'm documenting and tell their story with my images. Capture adjectives and adverbs, not just nouns and verbs. Ask questions, pay attention, and use all my senses to hone in on moments.
My military time led to daily newspaper work. That led to freelancing for international magazines and news agencies.
And here I am ... nearly three decades later and utilizing all that experience to not just be a wedding photographer, but a photojournalist documenting a wedding story.
I ensure we collaborate so couples are comfortable in front of the camera and trust that I know their wants, needs and preferences. This is a big reason why couples to friends and family for their wedding day.
Frequently asked questions
WHAT's the COST?
Intimate elopements start at $1,500.
Most of the couples I work with build a $4,000 collection which includes coverage of their wedding day’s major milestones and a full set of finished images. Custom collections are built for each couple based on wants, needs, and budget. Some of those wants are an engagement session, and artwork like albums, canvases and prints. Needs are typically more hours, travel, or a second photographer.
HOW FAR WILL YOU TRAVEL?
I'll travel anywhere on the globe to document a great story featuring amazing people and moments. There's no fee for weddings within two hours of my Coeur d'Alene studio.
HOW MANY IMAGES DO WE GET BACK?
It depends on the coverage. A good rule of thumb is you'll receive about 40 images per hour of coverage. If I'm there for 10 hours, expect 400 images.
HOW MUCH TIME DO WE NEED YOU FOR?
That depends on when you want me to start documenting the preparation and when you want me to wrap up at the reception. My average wedding has between six and eight hours of coverage, but I've shot small elopements for one hour and huge multi-day wedding events that include 22 hours of photography. During our consultation, we'll build out a custom photography timeline.
