about my wedding photography
While posed portraits provide a formal and classic representation of the couple, candid moments capture raw emotions, genuine laughter, and fleeting connections that define a wedding day. These unfiltered glimpses create a timeless narrative that goes beyond the surface, preserving the essence of the celebration.

I know that on my wedding day, having him as my photographer felt more like having a friend to calm me than just a person with a camera.

what makes us different
I found my place in photography as a military photojournalist. It was drilled into me that the story matters above all else. Understand the people I'm documenting and tell their story with my images. Capture adjectives and adverbs, not just nouns and verbs. Ask questions, pay attention, and use all my senses to hone in on moments.
My military time led to daily newspaper work. That led to freelancing for international magazines and news agencies.
And here I am ... nearly three decades later and utilizing all that experience to not just be a wedding photographer, but a photojournalist documenting a wedding story.
WHAT's the COST?
Some couples spend $1,000 for a one-hour elopement. Others have budgets set aside for travel, multiple days of coverage, albums and artwork for themselves and their families. We build custom collections for each couple based on wants, needs, and budget. The average collection is about $5,500 and includes an engagement session, eight hours of coverage, an album, wall art, and completely retouched images.
HOW FAR WILL YOU TRAVEL?
I'll travel anywhere on the globe to document a great story featuring amazing people and moments.
HOW MANY IMAGES DO WE GET BACK?
It depends on the coverage. A good rule of thumb is you'll receive about 40 images per hour of coverage. If I'm there for 10 hours, expect 400 images.
HOW MUCH TIME DO WE NEED YOU FOR?
That depends on when you want me to start documenting the preparation and when you want me to wrap up at the reception. My average wedding has eight hours of coverage, but I've shot small elopements for one hour and huge multi-day wedding events that include 22 hours of photography.
